Battleboars are boars found in Red Cloud Mesa in Mulgore. Killing them and collecting their meat and snouts was required by Grull Hawkwind.

Objective of

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic.

Kalimdor's quilboars specially train battleboars, which bear sharp metal caps on their tusks that increase their deadliness.

• Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Model updated.
  
• Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Renamed from Battleboar. Level changed from 3 - 4 to 1 - 2.
  
• Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): They are now neutral (previously hostile), so they will not attack until you attack them.
