Yero the Skittish is a rare soul located on the Face of Oblivion in the Maw. He asks the Maw Walker to help him save his son that was taken into a cave. His son seems to have become a sort of Mawsworn shade and then twists his father into the same.
Killing Yero the Skittish awards 80 points of standing with Ve'nari, roughly 50 
[Stygia], and 300 points of threat (30% of a level) of Eye of the Jailer.
Abilities
Disruptive Screams — Inflicts Shadow damage to enemies within 15 yds, interrupting spellcasting.
Screaming Torment — Inflicts 25 Shadow damage to enemies within 50 yards.- Tears of Grief — Shadowy tears flow from the caster every 1 sec, inflicting Shadow damage at each impact point.

Yero initially appears as a friendly soul wandering around on the Face of Oblivion outside Perdition Hold. Once a player approaches, Yero beckons the player to follow him into a cave, the Woeful Cavern, before turning hostile:
- Yero the Skittish says: Please, Maw Walker. Help me save my son.
- Yero the Skittish says: Follow me, I beg you! He is just down the slope from here. There is still time!
- Yero the Skittish says: Yes, this way! Hurry!
- Yero the Skittish says: He is within this cave. I pray we are not too late!
- Moraa says: Father... I am here!
- Moraa says: I am everywhere, now.
- Moraa says: Join me, father. Embrace the shade within you!
- Yero the Skittish says: I... I hear him.
Should players not aggro and defeat Yero while in the cave, he will eventually respawn back on the surface, but still in hostile shade form.
