	Wyvern Sting; Tier 7 Survival hunter talent; 8-35 yd range; 115 Mana; 2 min cooldown; Instant; Requires Ranged Weapon; A stinging shot that puts the target to sleep for 12 sec. Any damage will cancel the effect. When the target wakes up, the Sting causes 300 Nature damage over 6 sec. Only usable out of combat. Only one Sting per Hunter can be active on the target at a time.;

Wyvern Sting is a Survival hunter talent. It puts an enemy to sleep for 30 seconds.

Tips

Useful in PvP as a pre-emptive counter to early use of Fear, or as a free chance to hit the target with an Aimed Shot or other powerful attack.

Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Removed.
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Moved to level 75 (was level 30). No longer available to Survival hunters.
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Now has a 1.5 second cast time.
Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): Now has a range of 40 yards (up from 35 yards).
Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Wyvern Sting no longer has a Focus cost (was 10 Focus), and its cooldown is now 45 seconds (was 60 seconds).
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now available to all specializations as a level 30 talent (was a tier 5 Survival talent). No longer causes a damage-over-time effect to the target.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Moved to tier 5 (was tier 7). No longer requires [Killer Instinct].
Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Duration increased from 12 sec to 30 sec. PvP duration reduced from 10 sec to 6 sec.
Patch 1.7.0 (2005-09-13): Added, replacing [Lacerate] as the 31-talent point for Survival.
