Withers is a treant companion. This pet starts off unusually large for a companion, then withers down to a small size over roughly 25 minutes. If Withers comes in contact with a deep enough water source, it grows to full size again and does an emote in chat:
- Withers absorbs the water, growing back to full size.

Alliance characters receive this companion as a reward from 
[5-30] Remembrance of Auberdine, which comes at the end of a quest chain beginning with [5-30] The Last Wave of Survivors.
