Winter Squid can be caught in the coastal waters of Blasted Lands, Swamp of Sorrows, Badlands, Eastern Plaguelands, Tanaris and Thousand Needles in the wintertime.

This squid is seasonal, meaning it is only available during winter months, starting with the 23rd of September each year. In addition, this type of "fish" has a daytime preference, meaning it has the best catchrate during 12.00-18.00 server time.
