What You May Regret begins the The Pride of Kul Tiras quest chain. Players must have earned Alliance  [Loremaster of Kul Tiras] by completing the three Kul Tiras zone storylines: Alliance  [A Sound Plan], Alliance  [Drust Do It.], and Alliance  [Stormsong and Dance]. Cyrus Crestfall in Boralus starts the chain - there are no breadcrumbs to it.

Meet with Genn Greymane at the memorial by Proudmoore Keep.

Description

<Name>, Genn Greymane left this letter for you. He indicated it was urgent. I was just about to send for you.

<Upon opening it, the letter reads as follows.>
"<Name>,

You have helped to unite the Kul Tirans and gained their support for the Alliance. Perhaps now you might be able to help reunite a mother with her daughter.

Meet me at the family memorial by Proudmoore Keep. With luck we can convince Lord Admiral Proudmoore to grant her daughter a stay of execution.

Priscilla- Lady Ashvane convinced me to exile my daughter. I now see she acted in her own self interest, and I do not know if my daughter still lives.

On accept:

Genn Greymane says: Champion, You have helped to unite the Kul Tirans and gained their support for the Alliance. Perhaps now you might be able to help reunite a mother with her daughter.
Genn Greymane says: Meet me at the family memorial by Proudmoore Keep. With luck we can convince Lord Admiral Proudmoore to grant her daughter a stay of execution.

Head across to Lord Admiral's Rest outside Proudmoore Keep in Boralus. Katherine Proudmoore is at the grave for her husband, Daelin Proudmoore. Genn Greymane is watching from a distance.

Speak with him:

The people of Kul Tiras are united, but their leading house is not, and the Alliance is without one of our most powerful leaders.
It is my hope this rift can be healed as well.
Gossip <Give Genn a moment to speak with Katherine.>

A cutscene plays:

Katherine Proudmoore says: I don't know what to do, Daelin. I don't know what to believe in... who to trust.
Katherine Proudmoore says: Priscilla, the greatest friend of my heart... has stabbed me in it.
Katherine Proudmoore says: I have nothing... no one... left...
The camera swings to the side to show Genn where he stands.
Genn Greymane says: You have Jaina.
She doesn't look at him as she replies.
Katherine Proudmoore says: Jaina betrayed the kingdom.
Genn walks up closer to Katherine as he speaks.
Genn Greymane says: Jaina did nothing but follow her heart. And she's suffered for that.
Genn Greymane says: ... she's suffering even more now. Isn't she?
Katherine Proudmoore says: ... I see her... in my dreams.
A shot shows Jaina in a place of darkness full of flames, as she falls to her hands and knees in great pain.
Katherine Proudmoore says: Genn... She's burning.
Genn compassionately urges her.
Genn Greymane says: Katherine, she's calling out to you... You must go to her.
She now looks over her shoulder to Genn, her tone defeated.
Katherine Proudmoore says: It's too late for that.
Genn Greymane says: If you can hear her... then it's not too late.
The camera shows Katherine having turned partly towards Genn to look at him.
Genn Greymane says: I would give anything to hold my boy again.
Genn Greymane says: You've been given one more chance.
Genn Greymane says: Take it. Bring her home.
