Adding some more stuff: fansites, modifications, guilds, API

Okay, so I'm confused as to why almost all these category names violate the proposed policy for categories by mostly not being plural (even though they appear plural because an 's' has been added after)... Is this intentional or just an oversight?

- I think most of these categories are totally unnecessary. Its creating far too much differentiation in my opinion. Why have separate categories for Alchemy recipes, Alchemy supplies, Alchemy trainers, etc, when those can all just be collected with a standard Alchemy category? It creates FAR too much work and jumbles things up in my opinion. I'll start my own proposed category listing so you can see what I mean. --Anticrash 20:07, 14 Dec 2005 (EST)
- Don't splinter things any more please - just edit the list that is here! If somebody dislikes what you do (I assume you meant me cause the current list is my quick work) they'll say so here! I for one am fine with that, just throw whatever up and if I think some need adding, I'll add them. I agree with you anyway, it is too long. But just *please* keep it here! Move
Hey fandyllic could you merge the contents with Project:Policies/Category? I want a single central list. When this is completely merged with that, just redirect this there. This is a wiki; there is no reason to 'propose' anything unless it's a major change; and as I created the list that now appears at policies/category I can (and do) give you permission to edit it mercilessly (-:

Deletion
i feel this is an easy candidate for deletion, since it hasn't been edited in 12 years—but before i do that, do we want any of the proposed categories that don't already exist/have a reasonably close equivalent? these include...
- Category:Server guilds
- Category:Official news
- Category:Continents
- Category:Intelligent creatures
- Category:Primitive creatures
- Category:Mindless creatures
... as well as Category:Inventory, but that one did have an existing equivalent which was deleted for being kind of pointless —Eithris (talk) 15:39, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
