While the area is present in-game, it can't be accessed by normal means.

WKM is a secret room found within an escarpment in Orgrimmar. It was added when the city was redesigned with the release of Cataclysm. The 3D artist, Chad Max, who was working on the project, hid this area as an homage to his father William Kenneth Max.[1]

For many years it had been unknown what the point of this room was, though it was rumored to be a tribute to Michel Koiter, a deceased Blizzard employee.[2]

  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Added with the redesigning of Orgrimmar.
