Michel Koiter

Michel Martin Koiter (3 May 1984 – 18 March 2004) was one of Blizzard's premium artists. He was known under the name of "Twincruiser," an artistic collaboration with his twin brother René Koiter.

He died at the age of 19 of unexpected heart failure.

Tributes

• In World of Warcraft, the Shrine of the Fallen Warrior in the Barrens, west of the Crossroads, was erected in his honor.
  • An angel named Koiter is visible in front of the Shrine.
• In StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, after a battle, Jim Raynor picks up the dog tags of a dead marine named "M.Koiter".
