Vengeful Spiritshard is a quest reward. It turns a character's appearance a ghostly red upon consumption.

Notes

• The buff duration is 60 minutes. If you want to cancel it: right-click the buff named "Spirit of Vengeance", or instead type and enter (without quote marks) "/cancelaura Spirit of Vengeance".
• Using the item will dismount your character.
• The buff does not persist through death.
• The ghostly appearance is also applied to shapeshift mounts like Sandstone Drake. It does not, however, extend to companions and combat pets.

Patch changes

• Patch 6.2.0 (2015-06-23): Visual effect is no longer applied to all mounts.

  Likely a side-effect of the change to how [Shadowform] visually effects the priest's mount.
