Console variables
Thanks for the update to Console variables, especially the ScriptProfile update! If you're interested in CVars, theres a full list of the current CVars (there may be a few cvars which have been removed in-game in the list still - working on fixing that) on Console variables/Complete list. - Yep, I know about the full list already - there are tons of CVars there that need to be documented/fixed. I have quiet a bit knowledge about what some CVars do. I also think that Console variables needs consistent formatting like "CVar (possible values) - short description". What do you think? Silverwind (talk) 19:41, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- Short description yes. As to values, for most CVars it may be best to keep it on the CVar's page itself, just so it doesn't get too cluttered - for CVars which haven't had pages created yet, keep whatever's there for settings already, just to make it easier to make the page later? I'd really like to remove most of the Camera CVars from the main page altogether (just because theres so many of them, and most of them are adjusted via moving your mouse). Thoughts? - I agree with removing all the values from the page, but I'm not sure about the camera CVars. Most people probably only ever need cameraDistanceMax, cameraDistanceMaxFactor, cameraDistanceMoveSpeed and maybe the one's which can be set in the Options Menu (like cameraWaterCollision). Sadly, I don't know what 90% of the camera CVars do and they will probably never get documented, so I guess it would be fine removing all the cryptic/undocumented ones. CVar reflectionMode vs CVar reflectionmode
In future, please just move the page, rather than copying & pasting the page with the same information as the original, into the new page, as you lose attribution for the edits on the original page. Ressy (talk) 15:04, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

- It can be found at the top right, in the drop down beside View History. Also, if you place {{Delete}} or {{sd}} on a page, just put it at the top of the page rather than blanking the page entirely. Just makes it easier for ppl to look at the page and understand why it should be deleted. :) Ressy (talk) 15:12, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
