Tooltip problems

Usually it's going to be a line break in the effect parameter that causes it. --Pcj (TC) 21:03, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

My kingdom for functioning tooltips on the table of 2.3 badge rewards.
You explained:
Usually it's going to be a line break in the effect parameter that causes it.
Does this mean I will have to go through each item on the 2.3 Badge of Justice rewards table and check for this line break? Or is it something the item bot will fix (I see that several of the items' infoboxes have yet to be added) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by K10wn (talk · contr).
If it's tagged for Foxbot it will replace it with a functional tooltip; otherwise you'll have to. --Pcj (TC) 21:10, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Okay, so I kinda got  [Girdle of the Protector] to tooltip by removing the line breaks - problem is, the tooltip is popping up anchored to the far right, rather than the mouse tip —The preceding unsigned comment was added by K10wn (talk · contr).
See my changes. --Pcj (TC) 21:17, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
a-HA! I figured it was somethin with the left|right pipe, but in comparing the format to other functioning tooltip items, there was no difference (ie  [Vambraces of the Naaru]) It seems |right is the standard format for most items.
Additionally, I assumed these items had been added via the bot, so didn't even bother checking for such blatantly obvious spelling errors
That being said, is there a way to run the bot on all the items on this table? It's information that would be vastly beneficial to the community, especially in these first few days of the items going live. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by K10wn (talk · contr).
It's possible to tag all the items, yes... --Pcj (TC) 21:24, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Well, going through the tables items, I see that just about every one is 'tagged'. What I'm wondering is how long will it be before the bot actually gathers the data and updates them? If there's a week-long delay between an item being tagged and the bot actually updating it, is there a way a user could point the bot at a specific item and get the data manually (even if it has to be done one item at a time) so as to have the information available a bit more expediently?
I know I could manually add each items' info, but if the bot is just going to ultimately overwrite everything I added, it would result in a great deal of wasted effort. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by K10wn (talk · contr).
Supposedly running tonight. We'll see. --Pcj (TC) 22:20, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

table formatting

Unless there's a major need, please don't override what darktable provides in terms of formatting. Thanks again for your contributions. --k_d3 23:32, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

  • When I stumbled across the darktable class, I found it an excellent base format in both form and function. It's obvious drawback is in displaying several rows of similar data, where it lacks visual cues to differentiate the rows. An excellent example is the Class Sets in this revision of Season 3 Arena rewards
By keeping it the root of all table data I compiled, it established a uniformity in the way data, or atleast the data I was compiling, was displayed throughout the site. If it's a rigid structure class established for one type of dataset, I understand and will refrain from calling it for a table's base format in the future. I'll work on a visually compelling root style for my table conributions to display fluid data while maintaining the flow of the sight.
