Speedydelete

Please do not blank pages when applying the Speedydelete template. Just add the template to the top of the page, and the admins will remove it. Blanking the page simply creates more work for us to try and figure out what the page was and why it should be deleted. Thank you. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:24, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

My fault, then. I hadn't known of the "speedydelete" until now, but thank you for letting me know! -- Cannibeans (talk) 03:41, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

Chronicles volume 2

Mate, is it out? Xporc (talk) 21:11, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Previews are.--SWM2448 21:13, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
Whelp, good thing I didn't wanted to have a social life this weekend. Thanks! Xporc (talk) 21:14, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
I'm doing the little things, small tidbits here and there that I see a lot of times are skipped over. The bigger paragraphs and new articles are all yours! Cannibeans (talk) 21:24, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
Oooooooooooh! Social what? --Mordecay (talk) 22:25, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Regeneration

Hey, I guess I must've missed it, but where does it say that Argus makes the regeneration quicker in the audio-drama ? All I can find is Lothraxion describing "It was pleasant, in a way, feeling your soul drift. And then Argus would drag you back, and you would be punished for your failures. That wasn't so pleasant." Because this matches all the Antorus descriptions in 7.3, where everyone states that it is Antorus that allows demons to regenerate. - MyMindWontQuiet 12:32, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

Wondering that too, and it seems to be more like MMWQ says. --Mordecay (talk) 23:12, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
Part 2, 33:00. My notes say quicken, though listening to it again, they don't specify that. I suppose my mind tried to find middle ground between the new Antorus lore and what was previously established in Chronicle, considering the new "retcons" contradict the entire reason Sargeras made Mardum in the first place, and therefore what drove him to become the leader of the Legion at all. Using Antorus as a quicker method of regeneration fits with the new Legion lore and keeps the Chronicle lore preserved. You can remove that tidbit and throw it under speculation if you'd like. Cannibeans (talk) 23:38, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
You guys do know that there is an official pdf transcript, right? :D Xporc (talk) 07:53, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
Reaaaally??? --Mordecay (talk) 10:28, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
Here, they always link a transcript with their audio-dramas ! -- MyMindWontQuiet 11:09, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
How did I miss this? Thanks! And thank you for clarifying my original point in the speculation section.Cannibeans (talk) 07:15, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Langs

What about this? It's the same case as Sean's spelling of garrosh and grommash. --Mordecay (talk) 01:12, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

It's just proper English that proper nouns, whether situationally treated as common nouns or not, are capitalized. Otherwise every single entry we have on every language page should be lower-cased since they can be said that way. It just looks messy to me as well. I'd go edit that Thalassian page if I knew MMWQ wouldn't just immediately revert it. -Cannibeans (talk) 01:40, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
This is where you're wrong because it's the opposite, they are common nouns, so they are not capitallized. Proper nouns are capitallized, but here we're talking about the common noun. Hence "x (the common noun) means y. When used as a proper noun (and thus capitallized X), it refers to this dude."
Ah and it's not even my syntax, but Blizzard's. Literally just copy pasted it from them. -- MyMindWontQuiet 03:21, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
Now that sources have been provided, yeah I'll concede. -Cannibeans (talk) 03:27, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
Yeah well now look at this: on our Thalassian page, "Belore" has its first letter capitalized, but the exact same page also has examples of it not being capitalized. Unless you're ready to track down every single usages of these words and capitalize letters accordingly, I suggest considering this situation not worth fighting for. Elementals

Here I think u misremembered something else. Firekin are mobs on Hyjal. They are with the other elemental mobs and are tagged as elementals. What you described in the summary are the flamekin. --Mordecay (talk) 20:36, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Yep, you're right, got those two mixed up. Flamekin does appear in the Elemental Creature template, though, not Firekin. Cannibeans (talk) 22:02, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
Hmm, flamekin shouldn't be on that template, then. They are called demons in their quest and are categorized as demons as well. Firekin is just one mob variation while the Flame Imp is other and I am not sure now why they are speculated to be the demonic firekin, when it appears that they are grell, albeit "unique elemental" or something like that? Alternatively, maybe, if we could find more mobs like these two "elemental imps" they could get a Bettername page. --Mordecay (talk) 22:43, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Moonsteel

Hey there, was looking at your mineral list and noticed something for Moonsteel. It seems like it can also be created from the introduction of steel and Moonstones, since the only craftable "Moonsteel" item in the game in the game requires two items to be crafted. Moonstones can be mined in Silverpine, which makes sense as to how it has such a large supply in SFK.  [Moonsteel Broadsword] --Berenal (talk) 01:18, 2 September 2018 (UTC)

Good catch, I'll get it added soon. -Cannibeans (talk) 01:22, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
Sure thing. I figure Elunite Ore is just iron with inlaid moonstones, which I mean, it fits the whole Elune theme. But that's just a headcanon at that point. --Berenal (talk) 01:40, 2 September 2018 (UTC)

Sandfury trolls

Heya, a question regarding the Sandfury trolls during the Legion Invasions. Although it was awhile, do you actually remember trolls being in Sandsorrow during the Invasions? --Mordecay (talk) 02:27, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

AFAIK Cannibeans retired after the wikia buyout Xporc (talk) 08:31, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
Oh no! --Mordecay (talk) 12:15, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
Hey there, jumping in from an email notice. I've left WoW for good and all other WoW-related things after an amalgamation of issues. Wowpedia getting bought out by Wiki, the forum mods banning me for nonsense because I pointed out their hypocrisy, the current state of WoW's gameplay and story direction and the lack of RP due to that story direction. I just realized no part of WoW made me happy anymore, so I decided to depart for good and focus on my career in the cannabis industry. I had some great times here in particular and enjoy everything you've all done, and hope the transition goes well. :) -Cannibeans (talk) 00:42, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
