Background

The Thousand-Branched Tree hangs over the Rift of Aln. Here, Xavius funnels all the maddening powers of his forces in the Nightverge into the Rift, feeding whatever entity lies deep inside. Should this continue, all of the Dream shall be compromised. Only the strongest heroes can hope to combat the forces of Nightmare that control the Rift.
