Unliving Caretakers are the human ghosts of former caretakers living in the small settlement below Karazhan in Deadwind Pass. They are level 69-70 and also inhabit the Master's Cellar below the village.
Since the Burning Legion's third invasion and the attack on Karazhan, the ghosts has been killed.
Abilities
Debilitating Strike — Inflicts 100% weapon damage and leaves the target wounded, reducing the effectiveness of any physical attacks for 5 sec.
Enrage — Enrages, increasing physical damage and attack speed for 2 min.

Notes
- Before the de-canonization of the RPG books, they may have been intended to be a part of the Caretakers.
