Uncategorized creature

Uncategorized creatures are those that do not fall into one of the standard World of Warcraft creature types.

Characteristics in World of Warcraft

• No spells that target a specific type (or types) of creature (such as [Polymorph] and [Hibernate]) work on uncategorized creatures.
• Some can be skinned.

Pseudo-creatures

Inanimate objects are sometimes represented in the game as NPCs rather than objects, either so that they can act as vendors or trainers or so that they can be destroyed in PvP. Their tooltips indicate that they too are uncategorized creatures. Examples include:

• Bookcases in Scryer's Tier
• [Lightwell]
• Shaman and NPC totems
