Tunneling Worms are gyreworms found in Kaja'mine of Kezan. When the trolls rebelled, the worms were killed.

Notes
- Prior to patch 4.0.6, mostly all the gyreworms were classified as beasts. While most of them were fixed to elementals, these tunneling worms were not. This has happened at a later time though. Ultimately they were changed back to beasts along with all the other gyreworms.
Patch changes
Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now categorized as Beasts instead of Elementals. Now tamable. 
Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Added.
