Trytooth Hardchisel is a Bluewax kobold found in Candle Rock in Highmountain during 
[10-45] Candle of Command and [10-45] Burn the Candle at Both Ends. According to Intern Jackie, Trytooth has a dull mind, but a sharp chisel.
During [10-45] Candle of Command, Trytooth is the second kobold to appear to be offered a job by the adventurer. During [10-45] Burn the Candle at Both Ends, he is also the second to return, having killed the largest basilisk in the cavern in the form of the Catacomb Gazestomper. The adventurer rewards him by giving him a dusty boot to wear as a hat.

Upon grabbing the reward from the junk pile, the adventurer can speak to Trytooth again:
- <Waits patiently with wide eyes for his reward.>
- <Give Trytooth the boot.>
- Trytooth Hardchisel says: This best boot ever. Bet it burns brighter than candle!
Trytooth runs off with a "Dusty Hat" buff. Reading the buff's description reveals the following: "Is it a hat, or a boot? Perhaps a hoot?"
