Before Patch 4.0.1 removed [Dalaran Intellect] from the game and replaced all instances of this item with Tomes of Dalaran Brilliance, the Tome of Dalaran Intellect was just a luxury item and had no added functional benefit. Using this book would teach you [Dalaran Intellect].

The tome was a limited availability item, purchased for 475g (or less with Kirin Tor reputation) from Neutral Endora Moorehead <Magical Goods> found in Sisters Sorcerous of Dalaran.

Patch changes

Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Removed. Existing copies replaced with  [Tome of Dalaran Brilliance].
Wrath-Logo-Small.png Patch 3.0.3 (2008-11-04): Added.
