Context
Tirion Fordring is the Supreme Commander of the Argent Crusade and current holder of the Ashbringer. Tirion's son, Taelan, joined the Scarlet Crusade after seeing many of his friends die and come back in undeath during the Third War. Players are asked by Tirion to help free his son from the Scarlet Crusade. Before Taelan can escape, he is killed by Grand Inquisitor Isillien. The death of Taelan drives Tirion to reform the Knights of the Silver Hand, an event that leads to his taking up of the Ashbringer, and becoming leader of the Argent Crusade.
