Tinnitus is a debuff given to players who receives a buff from drums. It is similar to the debuffs received from bloodlust-related spells.

While it was first implemented with Wrath of the Lich King, this mechanic was added to Burning Crusade Classic to bring the number of leatherworkers in a single raid down.[1]
