Archmage Khadgar says: We have little information to work from, but it seems he found a way to use the energy of the Twisting Nether to enhance his necromantic magic.

Archmage Khadgar says: Karam insisted on being sent in ahead of you, but I fear he cannot face this challenge alone.

Archmage Khadgar says: We will open a portal to his location, but can't hold it open long. Raest must be stopped!

Stage 1 - A Brother Betrayed

Confront Raest.

Raest Magespear yells: You were a fool to follow me, brother. The Twisting Nether feeds my strength. I have become more powerful than you could ever imagine!

Karam Magespear yells: I cannot let you unleash your power upon Azeroth, Raest. If you do not yield, I will be forced to destroy you!

Raest Magespear yells: Destroy me?! No, brother. Your blade will become my instrument!

Raest channels a beam of energy into Karam, possessing him.

Karam Magespear yells: What?! What are you doing? Nooo!

Karam is now under Raest's control.

Final Stage - The Prophecy Denied

Defeat Raest and Karam.

• Raest and Karam defeated

Phase 1

Raest is invincible, the goal of the phase is to damage Karam while kiting him. If Karam manages to land a hit, the player will lose nearly the majority of their Health bar.

Raest Magespear yells: Kill this interloper, brother!

Karam Magespear says: I... obey.

Phase 2

When Karam reaches 30% of his life, he is put into Purgatory and slowly regains his life while Raest attacks the player.

Raest Magespear yells: Useless! Stand aside while I do what you cannot, brother.

Phase 3

When he regains 70% of his life, Karam starts chasing the player again. The player must continuously kite him while focusing their attacks on Raest.

Phase 4

When Karam reaches 30% of his life again, he stands aside once more.

Raest Magespear yells: Once again I must clean up your mess, brother!

Phase 5

When he regains 70% of his life, Karam starts chasing the player one last time.

Defeat

Karam Magespear says: Brother... why?

Raest Magespear says: I'm... defeated? That's... impossible...
