The Thundering Serpent Hatchling is a cloud serpent companion that can be found on the Black Market Auction House. It was formerly available from the guild vendors for 300 after completing 
[Challenge Conquerors: Gold - Guild Edition].

Notes
- Though ostensibly added to the Black Market Auction House in patch 6.0.2, it was never actually listed. When developer Kim Steiner joined Blizzard a few years later, she was able to verify that it was bugged and get it fixed.[1]

Patch 8.1.5 (2019-03-12): Item quality changed from rare to uncommon to match battle pet. 
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Removed from guild vendors. Now available on the Black Market Auction House.
