The Zocalo is a large market and shopping mall surrounding Zanchul. Shoppers and traders are constantly pestered by thieving saurid, resulting in Rastari Enforcers and Yazma's spiders[1] being sent to dispose of them.
When the traitorous prophet Zul and Mythrax invaded Zuldazar, the Zocalo was overrun by the sethrak. Soon, Warguard Rakera rallied the royal guard and reunited with Princess Talanji. While the entrance to the area was protected by Akunda, the Zandalari force defeated the sethrak and rescued the civilians trapped here.[2]

Zócalo is a Mexican Spanish word for a town square or marketplace.
