Objectives

Find Ban-Lu at the bottom of the waterfall.

Description

Ah, the ripples I feel in the water are strong! The droplet does not fall far from our location.

Ban-Lu is quite close.

<Ryuli closes his eyes and releases the lilies into the water. They drift slowly to the east.> He waits for you now, at the bottom of the waterfall to the east.

It will be my honor to carry you on the ceremonial path from this shrine to the temple, as I have done for the Grandmasters before you.

Notes

Travel in a slight northeast line and down the waterfall until you reach the Circle of Scale in the middle of Lake Kittitata in the Jade Forest.

Master Bu says: Grandmaster! Have you found Ban-Lu?
Master Bu suddenly rolls in place... and reveals his true identity as Ban-Lu!
Ban-Lu says: Filled with sorrow by the death of Grandmaster Hight, I wandered Pandaria to reflect.
Ban-Lu says: But in the midst of that reflection, I saw something new and interesting appear... you!
Ban-Lu says: You have shown patience with Master Bu, honor with the grummles, duty with the Shado-Pan, and faith with the jinyu.
Ban-Lu says: It is clear you embody the wisdom, integrity, and tenacity of a grandmaster. Only one test remains... Prove to me that you can fight like a grandmaster!

Ban-Lu leaps onto the water, where you'll be fighting, but don't worry — you are granted water walking for this fight. Interrupt Ban-Lu's Piercing Cry and avoid the Jade Orbs.

Ban-Lu yells: Your skills are impressive indeed, Grandmaster! I would be honored to serve you, as I served the great leaders of our order who came before.

Use [Zen Pilgrimage] after defeating Ban-Lu. Follow the steps leading north from the Temple of Five Dawns until you reach the bottom. From there, go northwest and across a short wooden bridge.
