Thalorien Dawnseeker

Thalorien Dawnseeker was a high elf who gained fame for wielding the blade Quel'Delar. With the sword, he was part of the defense unit that guarded the Sunwell during the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas until he fell in battle against the death knight Morlen Coldgrip. His corpse remains where he fell, on the southern tip of the Dead Scar on the Isle of Quel'Danas.^[1]

He was a friend of Lana'thel, who took up Quel'Delar after his death and carried it to Northrend in the service of Prince Kael'thas.

Abilities

Bladestorm — Instantly Whirlwind up to 255 nearby targets and for the next 6 sec you will perform a whirlwind attack every 1 sec. While under the effects of Bladestorm, you can move but cannot perform any other abilities but you do not feel pity or remorse or fear and you cannot be stopped unless killed.
Heroic Strike — A strong attack that increases melee damage by 10%.
Mortal Strike — Inflicts 100% weapon damage and leaves the target wounded, reducing the effectiveness of any healing by 50% for 5 sec.
Whirlwind — In a whirlwind of steel you attack all enemies within 5 yards, causing weapon damage from both melee weapons to each enemy.

The Dawnseeker Promontory base camp bears his surname. It may have been named in his honor.

Thalorien appears in the Fall of Silvermoon mission in Warcraft III: Reforged, fighting alongside Anasterian Sunstrider at the entrance to the Sunwell.
