Improvements

Ok I'll admit this template is pretty ugly. I'm not that technically gifted, and these table templates look nicer in my head than on the screen, where they refuse to align and fill out. Feel free to expand and improve it, please.. ----  Varghedin  talk / contribs 13:38, 12 April 2007 (EDT)

Frostwolf

Why is the Frost Wolf Clan mentioned in this Template? They never fought in the second war in the first place.--The last Alterac (talk) 03:58, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

Organization

Destroyed?

What's with the new look of the template... destroyed? Are there sources for each clan under the "destroyed" list for being destroyed? Sssssssssssssssssssssssss For Pony! (^Sssss/_Slithered) 05:36, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

That's a very good question. It's also missing the Thunderlords. The Redwalkers are one of the only Clans known to be destroyed but are listed as surviving, as are the Dark Scars. Everen (talk) 06:11, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

I tried editing it but couldn't get a new subgroup in. Templates are, it seems, beyond me. However, the rationale was just to put the focus on current clans which makes it a very flawed template due to its inclusion of extinct, non-Horde clans as surviving Horde clans. There's no way we can confirm some of those are defunct or not.

Also, the Horde icon shouldn't be at the title when we're talking about all the orc clans.

I don't think so, some of those clans there don't even have status information on them. As I said on Template talk:Humans, if knowing if they're defunct or not is so important, we could just add "†" next to each of the defunct ones.--Lon-ami (talk) 11:32, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

Burning Blade Clan

Should the Burning Blade really be listed under new Horde? Only one member of them is in the Horde, and he spies on the Horde.... I'm not sure if he reveals his clan to the citizens of Orgrimmar. DeSatyr (talk) 09:51, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Shadowmoon Clan

Is there any justification to having the shadowmoon clan listed under the new horde beyond the presence of shadowmoon village, which could just as likely have been named after the valley? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ijffdrie (talk · contr).

Organizing clans by Horde

Is organizing the orc clans by which Horde(s) they belonged to really the best way to organize this template?--SWM2448 20:36, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

I would sort it into the Tides of Darkness group, the Beyond the Dark Portal group, "Other" for clans that have appeared since then, Warlords of Draenor because they are different enough, and "Lore" for clans that we know around a sentence about. Maybe list the Hordes too for functionality.--SWM2448 00:54, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Mag'har

What about removing Mag'har from the Hordes? It is a community / group of orcs but not technically a Horde. Put it under the Other section, if needed? --Mordecay (talk) 22:05, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
