Template talk:Film

Yeah but the template isn't only used by film characters. The point of adding a category in the template is that that way you won't have to worry about forgetting to add the main category to a page. For example Boomstick (film universe), if the category is added to the template, then you don't have to individually tag the page as belonging to the film universe. Yeah I noticed what it does, but I'm still not convinced. It also included a page with list of all book reference patterns which shouldn't be there. I believe adding the category manually shouldn't be a problem? --Mordecay (talk) 10:20, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
It's not a problem to add a category manually, it's just that adding it to the main template is a foolproof way to make sure articles are not left forgotten behind. Xporc (talk) 10:27, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
BTW, just fixed the book pattern thing, it's because it was using the wrong template. Xporc (talk) 10:29, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
