Multilanguage

Does not work elinks when changing tabs in russian version (problem with changing style="display: table-cell;"). Ex. . Can you help me? Have any idea how to fix it? Strizhhh (talk) 08:54, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

The root cause is in {{cv}}: the first argument is expected to be composed of latin alphanumerics + space characters; cyrillic letters (or even just symbols like parentheses) end up throwing a spanner in the works when they're transformed into something else by anchor encoding. Most of the versions visibility logic is unfortunately unaware of other languages (do tooltips linking to specific versions of an item work?). Sorry about that.
A functionality-degrading workaround might be to replace the code in {{cv}} with {{{2|}}}: this would make all of the version-conditional text show up on all versions of the page. I'll try to see if I can make it behave better in the future, but I can't promise anything. — foxlit (talk) 19:38, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
Thx, fixed (MediaWiki:Common.js). Strizhhh (talk) 14:04, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

Odd behavior

just ran into a possible issue with this template when used with Elinks-spell. Elinks-spell seems to be working fine on its own:

but when using Elinks-versions, the wowhead links point to classic.wowhead instead:

Wasn't working as intended, removed it entirely. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 06:23, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
