Replace Canprice with Euprice

I haven't seen any single book with the Canprice added, and I miss Euprice. I was going to replace CAN with Eu, but I would like to hear other opinions firsts.--Lon-ami (talk) 13:03, January 5, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed, not much CANPRICE, and € would be welcome (since we use UKPRICE)

Needs improvement

Formatting needs a big improvement with prices -- ie, remove the forced ones and do it manually --, and also it's not equipped to handle multiple editions and bindings at all. -- Zeal (T/C)  03:06, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

I'd suggest having some interface menus, instead of having an entire column with the data. I'm not very sure how to do it, but I've seen it in other wikis and it's pretty nice. That would allow us to put all the versions and editions in the menu without using too much space.
If we don't get to do that, we should use just displayable menus like in the instance pages to show the bosses in the main box.l--Lon-ami (talk) 14:53, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Title in italics

Book names should be in italics, however when you try to manually add italics to the title field, it un-italics the name of the article. The book name field should default to italic and it should also italic the article page. I would do that, but I don't know how to fix the code. --Celellach (talk) 11:03, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

Digital

Change the name of the "Binding" parameter to Format or Medium or another synonym, since it also takes arguments such as Digital, Audiobok, etc. -- MyMindWontQuiet 17:09, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

How about "Media type"? — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 17:13, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
Well the grammar is incorrect, they should use "Medium type" or "Media types", but not "Media type". :P -- MyMindWontQuiet 17:30, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
That's Wikipedia. They go by only the first release of the product, so of course Media type. For us it would be plural since we list all the types ever released. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 17:31, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
By "they" I meant "Wikipedia" yeah. "Medium" is the singular, "media" the plural. Normally. I'm fine with "Format" personally, so there's no nitpicking or the necessity to add "(s)" or whatever.-- MyMindWontQuiet 21:44, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
Don't particularly like Format when comparing with Media type. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 21:50, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
If we are gonna stick with Format, it doesn't make any sense to just use that. "Binding Formats" sounds okay. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 06:32, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
That doesn't make sense for non-physical media that doesn't have a binding, though. The whole point was to get away from the word "binding." What's wrong with just "formats"? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:34, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
Except "format" doesn't really say the type of book (it is also a singular). I don't see an issue with "Media types" as that goes in both directions for physical and virtual. Could also settle for "Medium types" since the "Media types" is grammatically incorrect. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 07:02, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
"Format" does indicate the types of books, for example a Hardcover and a Pocketbook book are the same medium - book - (so it's weird to use "Media types" if they're the same medium), just in different formats (hence "Format", which also encompasses "Digital", "Audiobook", etc.). -- MyMindWontQuiet 15:41, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
Format doesn't indicate the types of book. I would prefer to use Medium types as that explicitly calls for the type of books that it can be, such as Hardcover, E-book, etc.
Medium types: Print (Hardcover, Paperback). Digital (eBook, Audiobook) — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 16:19, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
Format is the correct and commonly accepted term regarding books. See Amazon ((1), (2)), Barnes&Nobles ((1)), etc. -- MyMindWontQuiet 16:38, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
M'kay. Don't change the parameter. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 16:40, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
