Lish Llrath, meaning Talon Toss in Draconic,[1] is a sport played by dragons and dragonkin.

Talon Toss is played in a circular arena with various floating goals around it. Several balls spawn at regular intervals around the field. The single large goal in the center gives one point, four smaller goals further from the center give two points, and four goals higher up than those give three points.[2] Scoring in the Goal of Searing Pitch or Goal of Rushing Winds will rain fire down on the field or cause whirlwinds to appear, respectively.[3] The ball is described as "a small ball, with 3 divots in it [...] clearly intended for small claws, likely drake sized."[4]

According to Veritistrasz, when he was a young player, huge crowds came out to watch the games, the stadiums were packed and the roars of the crowd were incredible. However, when the black dragons fell to corruption, the dragons had other things to worry about than sports and stopped playing the game.[4]

There is a Lish Llrath arena at Algeth'ar Academy in Thaldraszus. Since the rediscovery of the Dragon Isles, the dragons started playing the game once more at the academy.[4] The Darkwings are a black dragonflight team at the academy.[5] According to Headteacher Doragosa, Talon Toss is for any who are brave enough to try, and if the students continue to hone their skills they will be able to bring back the tournaments once more.[2]
