The place of the trilogy in World of Warcraft

Am I the only one who would like to see at least SOMETHING from these books incorporated into WoW or other Blizzard games to come? I suppose they can always decide to leave it out all together. Afterall, the events players change in Caverns of Time are set back onto their original path at least in the memories of those involved. It could go quite the same with what happened in War of the Ancients. User:Lilythmageborn/Sig 07:28, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

To be honest, I'd rather not see this series implemented into WoW because Knaak took a major turning point in night elf culture and history, and turned it into a Rhonin and Friends adventure. Ohten (talk) 02:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Ohten
I vehemently disagree, however it is irrelevant as it's prescences or lack thereof in WoW makes it no less accurate, relevent, or canonical to warcraft. I don't see how these events could be worked into wow, except maybe through an emerald dream expansion. Go back through the caverns of time and help Malfurion, Rhonin or someone do such and such...Or a Great Seas expansion. See Azshara's palace in the present day and go back through the CoT and see it as it was previously. With some mission of course.Warthok Talk Contribs 03:25, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Varo'then

So Varo'then was not specifically a highborne elf, he was a night elf?  Rolandius Wc3Knight.gif (talk - contr) 16:37, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure Varo'then was one of the Highborne. I can't imagine Azshara appointing a commoner to her captain of the guard. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 20:19, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, because somone changed his icon from Highborne Elf to Night Elf.  Rolandius Wc3Knight.gif (talk - contr) 01:39, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
And I was pretty sure that he was NOT a highborne, the guards were only night elves, the highborne were magic-users.Dakovski (talk) 05:01, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, but didn't the demons drive all the night elves out of Zin-Azshara except for Queen Azshara's Highborne?  Rolandius Wc3Knight.gif (talk - contr) 05:04, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Inconsistencies....

Noticed a few issues in reading these books... Why is Rhonin compared to a Dwarf when the Earthen don't retreat and evolve into Dwarves until after the Well is destroyed? And in Chapter 22 of 'The Demon Soul', Malfurion is fighting with Xavius, first of the Satyrs... why does he say "Malfurion vaguely recalled from legend the creature whose shape the dead Night Elf now wore. Satyrs, they had been termed..."? Revner (talk) 09:24, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

The dwarf issue...keep reading the trilogy, it will make sense. Apparently Night Elves already had legends and mythology (you'll see a little more of that later) and satyrs were the name of a creature of legend, a name applied to the new creatures sargeras created.Warthok Talk Contribs 09:49, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
