Thunderlord Stronghold

Should a note be made regarding the Thunderlord Clan's new-found alliance to the New Horde?

Seeing as how this info. is relatively new and relevant, I separated the Thunderlord Stronghold bit from the rest of the information (which is simply background stuff). --Pure.Wasted 01:08, 5 October 2006 (EDT)

Grandmaster Vorpil?

Where was it confirmed that Grandmaster Vorpil was a once a member of the Thunderlord Clan? --Sairez (talk)

  • Beyond the Dark Portal: "Yes, it was Vorpil, whom he remembered as a promising young Thunderlord shaman". I can't give you the exact page since I only have the ebook version. PRH (talk) 19:00, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Book or Game

Why the game-source would be considered canon if there is contradiction between game and book ? Dawn80818 (talk) 23:41, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Both are canon, though the most recent one should be the focus.--SWM2448 00:32, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

AU "exclusive" info

I'm not sure why culture info were from this and one other page removed since the histories of the MU and WoD!AU are, except for a few blades of grass, the same. There should not be such a thing like "this is AU info". I just noticed that the Burning Blade clan page has the Hallvalor info. That too should be removed since "it is AU clan"? Thoughts? --Mordecay (talk) 16:59, 27 February 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry, I probably shouldn't have removed the  [Gronn-Tooth Necklace] bit. I'll put it back. I mostly noticed that things like "a group of Burning Blade orcs also started capturing Horde members and sacrifing them" from garrison mission descriptions were being added to the MU clan pages, when those descriptions really only apply to the current events of the alternate Draenor. As you say, Blizzard have implied that most pre-Iron Horde information about the alternate Draenor should mostly apply to the main universe Draenor as well. It might be worth putting a little "this WoD information hasn't been 100% confirmed to completely apply to the main universe counterpart" note, though (like how it hasn't been confirmed whether or not the Blackhand comic is canon in the main universe as well). -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 18:05, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
Info from the result of the Iron Horde's involvement shouldn't be in the MU pages of course, but bits like from Exploration The Bigger They Are and Combat Thunderlords, Ho! would apply to the shared history, me thinks. And that note isn't a bad idea at all. --Mordecay (talk) 18:25, 27 February 2016 (UTC)

Edit: Remind me, why are the notes there? AU and MU histories are said to be the same. --Mordecay (talk) 21:56, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
