"Gankerthron Vale" is a nick-name for Stranglethorn Vale on PvP servers because many players who go there to level their characters between 30 and 40 are ganked by higher-level players, and because of the large number of locations for gankers to hide and wait for unsuspecting lowbies. Large Doors

Are Stranglethorn Vale and Ulmat Thondr the same?

In the Last Guardian, the description of Ulmat Thondr, the southern peninsula of Azeroth in which there was an increase of jungle troll activity, sounds an awful lot like Stranglethorn Vale. Are they one and the same?--Paulus 20:03, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

spaceship easter egg?
