Move

I am suggesting that we move this page because Thaurissan is a last name. Moving this page will allow us to construct a disambiguation page in its place. --Voidvector 23:40, 31 December 2006 (EST)

Shouldn't Modgud's last name be Thaurissan?  Rolandius Wc3Knight.gif (talk - contr) 03:28, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Lore adjustment

I made an edit to the body of the page. The old text indicated Thaurissan died during the summoning of Ragnaros, but lore from The Smoldering Ruins of Thaurissan (2)#Notes indicates that he alone of the eight who performed the ritual survived (the others being the Seven.)

That doesn't preclude him dying immediately thereafter, nor does it state that the lone figure is Thaurissan. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:58, January 20, 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, yeah, you're right. It could be implied that the lone figure it's him as the Seven are all dead in WoW but, as you said, he could have died immediately thereafter, besides it's confirmed in the History of Warcraft that he died during the summoning. Mountain king

Yes / No? Why? --Mordecay (talk) 16:49, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Yes. He is a thane, which is the same thing unless specified otherwise, and both him and his son use the Avatar ability.--SWM2448 22:13, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
I feel like this Sorcerer-Thane and Anvil-Thane Thurgaden should be classified as mountain kings even though they differ a little bit Xporc (talk) 10:48, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
