Is it really male? --Mordecay (talk) 19:39, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

In N IconSmall Pandaren Male.gifIconSmall Pandaren Female.gif [1-20] Bidden to Greatness Shen-zin Su is revered as male: ..."of their lives on this great turtle, Shen-zin Su, but not in hundreds of yours has anyone spoken to him."--LemonBaby (talk) 20:43, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! --Mordecay (talk) 13:28, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Fate

What's his fate following the faction choice?

Species

According to the Pet Journal Shen-zin Su is a emerald turtle.--Ashbear160 (talk) 14:20, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Well according to the Emerald Turtle he is a emerald turtle, but according to the Wanderer's Festival Hatchling he is a seadragon turtle... latter makes more sence....--LemonBaby (talk) 17:42, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
Emerald Turtle say "It is difficult to believe that Shen zin Su [...] began life as a tiny emerald turtle."
While the Wanderer's Festival Hatchling says "Legend has it that a seadragon turtle just like this one grew up to become Shen-zin Su [...]"
The first one seems something sure to me, whereas the second sounds like somethung hypotetic because of the term "Legend"

Both are some sort of speculative... I preferred "seadragon turtle" because the fins of sea turtles... But you also have a good point. I will change Shen-zin Sus race to "giant turtle" (thats sure) and add a note about the two different statements.--LemonBaby (talk) 07:42, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
His fins are of a sea turtle, but his head matches the tiny emerald turtle... he is unique that is for sure. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 09:37, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Size?

Considering Shen-zin Su being considered an island, is it arguably true that this turtle is in fact the largest living creature on Azeroth? Its bigger than any dragon, and demon and any Old God, and its larger even Ozumat, L'ghorek and Nespirah--EmperorJarethan (talk) 15:01, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

I agree with this, but as the largest living known creature on Azeroth --Cemotucu (talk) 15:26, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
Maybe I'm exceeding with conceptual precision, but Nordrassil and Teldrassil are living creatures too (being trees), and they are also quite big. -- Forco sussura agli abissi 18:57, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
You're right. Shen-zin would be the largest known living animal.--Cemotucu (talk) 23:24, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
They never explained the reason for his abnormal growth did they? I suppose Liu Lang kept giving him the waters from the Valley of the Four Winds. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 23:26, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
