My understanding is that this this is just damage from the target to the caster. Not to the whole party/raid. The 1/5 seems to be the real value imo. Gmillerd 04:07, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
The 2.3.3 patch notes say something about this talent no longer affecting other effects, if that means that it no longer counts for Soul Siphon bonus this talent has just become pointless. Ghost warlock 20:27, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Ghost Warlock - It would be nice to have clarification or confirmation that "This talent's effect can no longer trigger other effects" because it means every warlock build that recommended this talent for the 4% soul siphon bonus is now inaccurate. Bareman
According to the Warlock Discussion Forum on Blizzard's site, this talent still affects soul siphon; the purpose of the change was to prevent it from triggering effects such as the various Darkmoon cards decks. --Ghost warlock 08:46, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Classic or TBC?
Considering its December 2006 creation, which is close to the TBC release and that there's no ID in Classic database, but present in TBC database, is this really Classic content, or was this added in TBC?

- looks like its ID comes a little after Mass Dispel (32375) and Shadow Word: Death (32379), which both have notes on their pages that they were added in 2.0. there are a few outland world spells nearby too, like "Open Corki's Prison" (32384). probably safe to say it was added in TBC.
