Terokk

Several pages including this one and Terokk state confidently that this is indeed the realm in which Terokk was sealed by the Talonpriests. There are two known references:

Terokk was sealed away deep within the shadows to rest, and perhaps to heal. -  [30-40] Rites of the Talonpriests

Hoping to rejuvenate their fading king, the Talonpriests sealed Terokk away in the shadows. -  [30-40] Terokk's Fall

However, you'll notice neither reference states "the realm of shadows" or anything such, only "the shadows". Since the Arakkoa Outcasts slip so freely into the Realm of Shadows, this would make it quite easy for them to at least visit Terokk every so often for a chat and some biscuits, as opposed to not having seen him in many, many years. It is also stated in  [30-40] Rites of the Talonpriests that "Making contact with him will take a great deal of effort" which at the least suggests that he is not merely sealed within the Realm of Shadows, but within some deeper part of it, or at least behind additional barriers.

While it seems likely this realm is involved, without further evidence I don't think we should state that as fact. I've therefore watered down the statement on this page, and removed the assumed "realm of" from a couple of other pages. -- Taohinton (talk) 22:41, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

Agreed. There are several very obvious similarities between the talonpriests and Azerothian shadow priests, (the use of shadowfiends, for example) but for now we don't have any real confirmation that the shadow world in Spires of Arak is the same thing as the Realm of Shadows, and we don't know what connection any of them have to the spirit world or the Void. -- DeludedTroll (talk • contribs) 12:03, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Merge with Shadowlands

  [10-45] Salanar the Horseman says that we need Salanar from the Realm of Shadows. The mission we need to complete says the location is the Shadowlands. --Mordecay (talk) 10:59, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

In that case I think we should make a separate page for the arakkoa/Anzu realm of shadows, which seems to be more Void-aligned than the realm of shadows associated with death knights. -- DeludedTroll (talk • contribs) 12:33, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
