My Ideas

I have some ideas but I don't want them deleted so I thought I would write them down here. All these ideas are things I read on wowwiki so I didn't make them up:

1.What do you think about putting brown orcs before the green orcs? (The green orcs were brown orcs that were corrupted by Gul'dan)

2.What do you think about putting Gryphons before or after Wyverns? (Gryphons and Wyverns share a common ancestor)

3.What do you think about putting Hippogryphs after Cenarius? (Cenarius is thier Racial Leader)

4.What do you think about putting Ogres after Ogre Lords? (The Ogres descended from the Ogre Lords)

So far that is what I have seen. Watch out for M1330 by the way. Rolandius (talk) 13:58, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

'nuff said. CogHammer.gif Ose talk/3721 14:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
This round goes to Ose. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 17:44, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Only thing wrong with it that I can see is that worgen and wolves are unrelated. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:51, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
While I think this debate is closed, Cenarius being the Hippogryphs' racial leader does not make them related, unless he created them. He commands all nature.--SWM2448 22:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
While I read the information on Hippogryphs, they had two theories. The first was the Cenarius thing I wrote. The second is that the night elves created them, which would mean Hippogryphs would be under the Troll category. Sounds like the first idea is much better. Rolandius (talk) 01:01, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh and by the way I wasn't creating ideas for Ose's chart or the Origin of the Races page — but the page where the edit wars started — more like the Species page and now Origin of the species evolution line page. Rolandius (talk) 01:07, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
*Cough*My chart*Cough* Anyway, yeah, Worgen are probably unrelated to wolves. And aparently the same may apply to Wolvar. That is precisely why I left it all in dashed lines with question marks. I tried to keep all speculation either out, or clearly marked with dashes and/or question marks. If you do see such a relation that has not been clearly marked, I would apreciate it. Anyway, this new evolution line seems pretty much an attempt to do the same thing I tried to do with the chart above, but it has a lot more speculation and it doesn't have connections that I thought were fact (Like Ogre-lord / Ogre, correct me if I am wrong). --Richeron (talk) 01:05, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Woops I mean Richeron's chart. Well I am 90% sure Worgan aren't connected to wolves since the Worgan were summoned from another dimension. I agree with Richeron. Why is everyone saying Ogre-lords are not connected to Ogres? Rolandius (talk) 01:22, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh and Richeron, don't forget Panda Bears. LOL They could be next to Bears on the chart? Rolandius (talk) 01:25, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Is Ose's chart missing banshees or is that intentional? --Gengar orange 22x22.png Fandyllic (talk · contr) 7:31 PM PST 11 Jun 2008
Banshees are hard to place, because they sometimes come from Highbourne, other times from High Elves and ocasionaly from other races. They are really just another form the Undead can take. --Richeron (talk) 12:41, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

You could put Proto Dragons above dragons since Tigole seemed to make it pretty clear they were what the current dragons evolved from in that interview. Leviathon (talk) 03:15, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

My changes

Okay, I made some changes to this "evolution line". I added mountain and sea giants before earthen, because that is mentioned in Origin of the races under titans right away. I unlinked uncorrupted orc from Mag'har, because as Rolandius noted in the new uncorrupted orc article, the Mag'har are more like a faction of uncorrupted orcs, not necessarily representing all of them. I also unlinked nether dragon from Netherwing for the same reason. --Gengar orange 22x22.png Fandyllic (talk · contr) 7:15 PM PST 11 Jun 2008

Hmm I'd have to look into it but I think the RPG states that mountain and sea giants were created as two seperate lineages to that of the earthen. Thus represent other lines altogether.Baggins (talk) 02:18, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
