When I dove down and drowned, I realeased my spirit. It went to of all places the barrens. This happen to anyone else? Is this a specific bug having to do with this area or all inbetween areas? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cormundo (talk · contr). 19:22, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

  • The first time I tried my druid aquatic form quest, I drowned and ended up in the Barrens when I released. I was in the Great Sea at the time, so maybe not being in a proper zone has something to do with it. Not fun, having to go all the way back to Silverpine again after, though. This is what the Eastern Kingdoms terrain was going to be.--SWM2448 15:47, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

When you are in the Eastern kingdoms and die in an unnamed zone you go to barrens graveyard. When you are in Kalimdor and die in an unnamed zone you go to Westfall graveyard ;) and just to clear up all confusion. there are 3 "continent instances". Kalimdor is one. eastern kingdoms is another. and blood elf starting area, draenei starting area and outland is a third. Elrox 08:56, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

  • With the release of all the patches, is the tower still there?

Checking the map viewer, I'd say so. --Super Bhaal (talk) 15:51, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
It's still there. I swear the fishing got nerfed though, I remember catching Plated Armorfish and Lightning Eels here 2 years ago :(. --Scudmarx (talk) 02:16, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
When I first found this area I thought it was Sunstrider Isle, but there was nothing, or anyone, else around, and it seemed small for an island.  Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 23:35, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

I finally made it to Quel'Thalas! YAY! And yes, the fishing was nerfed, now it's rockscale cods and oily blackmouths. Oh, and did anyone notice the weird sound when you stand nearby the one lamp post in front of the tower? Skulkerart (talk) 00:01, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

I made it to Quel'thalas after BfA. I can confirm that the invisible wall from Cataclysm is gone, though the invisible walls in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands remain. It should be noted that to the east of the Eastern Plaguelands, there's an invisible wall that prevents you from making it to the Ghostlands that way, but if you get to Quel'thalas and then keep going east, you'll encounter the invisible wall and be unable to return to the mainland. Also, I could not enter Stratholme through Quel'thalas. There was a big invisible wall in the way. Though I could see much of it. Flame486 (talk) 06:41, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
