Name

Should this page be named "Prospector" or "Dwarven prospector"? I have no problem saying the Windrunner sisters are elven rangers, but that's because there are also rangers who happen to not be elven. For dwarves AFAIK there are no normal prospectors. Xporc (talk) 14:58, 18 October 2017 (UTC)

I don't think this page needs to be moved if there isn't a single example of a non-dwarf prospector. PeterWind (talk) 16:34, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
Well considering they are the only race for prospectors (as of right now), a shorter name would still work for such unless "Dwarven prospector" is the exact Lore name of such title, if you get what I mean. Like the elven rangers, the rangers you can see in-game are not called "Elven rangers", they're simple "Ranger". That separate page is to keep a group list of just elvens instead of any of the other races that has Rangers. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 22:46, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
To clarify, I wouldn't mind such a move either. PeterWind (talk) 06:14, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
I'll try to check later in Lands of Conflicts if prospectors are presented as a class, an organization or merely a job. Prestige class, according to the book. Still, I'm bothered to use a RPG-only name for a group that exists in the official canon and that is simply called "Prospectors". Xporc (talk) 07:46, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
It helps to just say that the quests, they reference it as the "Prospectors". — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 12:06, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
As you can see, since the "dwarven explorer" name comes from the RPG, I finally decided to use the "Prospectors" group name from the WoW quest. Hope everyone's cool with that :D Xporc (talk) 09:23, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
