BC Revamp?

If their updated Zul'Aman, are their any rumors of revamps to BC stater zones? Hallowseve15 (talk) 23:33, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

"They're" and "there" respectively. And no, I haven't heard any rumors of that, but given that this was only just announced this morning I think it's a little early for those kinds of rumors. Also, from what I read I got the impression that Zul'Aman won't really be updated, just retuned. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:50, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Eurogamer posted an article (and Boubouille from MMO kina confirms it) that Blizzard has decided to do more smaller content patches, like in classic. So that not every content patch needs a raid and has to be so big. Result:
No Firelands until 4.2 and "only" ZA and ZG in this patch. (User:Marston) 01:42, 04 March 2011 (UTC)

Patch Image

With the World of Warcraft website revamped, it looks like patch notes pages won't have pictures formatted the same as the ones we've been using for all of the previous major patches. And, unfortunately, the new site only contains pages for some of the older patches, so no pictures for the patches that weren't updated to the new style. Is anybody else concerned about patch 4.1.0 including an image that looks quite different from the ones used for all prior patches? Or am I just being too OCD? I'm a little disappointed on the many things that were lost or no longer available from the site switch. As for this issue, it doesn't matter to me. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 02:03, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
There was a lot of back-and-forth on that patch image after all. Looks like Dark T Zeratul put up one that will probably stick, but as far as I can tell, he had to crop this image to get it. http://us.battle.net/wow/static/images/game/patch-notes/backgrounds/en-us/bg-patch-4-1-top.jpg That will make updating future patch pages a bit more difficult, meaning they'd have to be cropped to match, but I'm sure somebody will get around to it as they roll out. Yep, that's exactly what I did. Assuming the rest are of a similar size, it shouldn't be too bad since it had fairly natural borders. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:23, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
lol and now it's been changed to the wallpaper version which was released. I guess that's the best option. Blizzard pretty much always releases a wallpaper for patches, and it will show off the whole artwork without needing to crop out edges. Dr. Cheis (talk) 02:49, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Troll meeting location

I believe it to be Yojamba Isle... and if you go to the small island now, you can find trances of them being there. A place where their bonfire was... which was not there prior to 4.1.0. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 01:09, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

I immediatly recognized it as Yojamba Isle when I saw the trailer. Dr. Cheis (talk) 03:23, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Additional Patch Changes

The blog post at http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/2657803 was updated with additional patch notes that were not included in the original version. Some time later when the page was updated, the new additions, which were listed in red, turned back to their regular color, making it hard to identify the new additions. The page here http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/patch-notes/4-1-0 doesn't list the new changes either. Here's an example of a new change included in the blog, but not in the original patch notes: "The direction of the Eclipse bar now resets after the druid dies and resurrects." Somehow MMO-champion missed the updated patch notes too. Does anybody know of an easier way to determine the new additions other than reading line-by-line? Dr. Cheis (talk) 03:23, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

UPDATE - The official blog post was updated with "Updates to the patch notes in red applied 4.27, 12:00 p.m. PDT," and some changes, marked in red. The original changes I mentioned, such as the eclipse bar change are still not indicated in red. Dr. Cheis (talk) 21:40, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
