Lifeblood

I'm pretty sure that Lifeblood already worked while stealthed or invisible... at least as of 3.0.3 A druid in cat form Prowling can use it without losing either cat form or stealth. Michaeljustman (talk) 19:50, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

If you verified this in game, or are reasonably sure, just delete it. The general policy on editing is to use your best judgment and be bold. -Howbizr (talk) 16:16, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
I would if I could verify that this is also true for Rogues with Herbalism, but alas, I've no rogue to test on or internet with latency < 20000 to actually log into the game, but I'm certain that this is true for druids on live as I used it just three weeks ago. Michaeljustman (talk) 16:23, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't take you out of stealth, but it does make little flowers grow around you, following you as you move. --Azaram (talk) 05:17, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Just tried it since I was on my druid herbalist, and the flowers seem to be gone now. Still in stealth, tho. When the cooldown times out, I'll check without stealth and see if they're just stealthed flowers. (update) Stealthed flowers indeed; they appeared when I did it out of stealth. --Azaram (talk) 14:30, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Iron Boot Flask back down to 10 Relics

Confirmed it today with screenshots taken. Might upload the images later but its true

The iron boot flask does not cost 250 Relics . It's back down to 10.

I'm putting something in to that effect.

You guys think I should upload my screenshots ? --Honem (talk) 05:14, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

If you're sure, just update it. I only added screenshots as references because that's all that mmo-champion had, and the data wasn't updated on wowhead or thottbot yet. -Howbizr (talk) 18:03, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
The iron boot flask was priced 10 relics on the live servers a day before the patch, and still 10 on the live servers with 308. so there's no need to mention it. test realm changes are just that, test realm.  - Zurgat talk / cont  12:23, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Release date 0.0.8.9464

I am not quite sure about the release date of the new build. Does anyone want to check it? Hans Kamp (talk) 07:30, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure if that release date gets updated for each build. Too much of a possibility that someone might confuse it with that was when the PTR for 3.0.8 come out. I propose a roll back with this change.
--Honem (talk) 09:23, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
It hasn't been announced yet to my knowledge, so I just nixed it. If anyone gets official word, please update the infobox. -Howbizr (talk) 18:03, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Old world raid gold lowered?

According to what I've seen on the forums, Onyxia now drops less gold, I imagine other raid bosses do too. Can anyone confirm? Dionyssios (talk) 04:55, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

its true. onyxia drops about 50 instead of 180g. zg and aq are affected as well. Not sure about mc and bwl though. Zurgat (talk) 08:36, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

listed things

a lot of the things listed here aren't exactly "undocumented".. Zurgat (talk) 14:38, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Purge anything you see that you see fit. A lot of things were undocumented about 3 builds ago, but have since been added to the official notes. I did some of this pruning earlier, but I may have missed some things.-Howbizr (talk) 18:42, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Azeroth, we have a problem.

"Moonfire has a new spell animation, which includes a moon globe at the top of the beam." \\ It's had that since the pre BC 2.whatever patch. I didn't notice, had it been removed and put back, or did whoever put this in there just now notice it? --Azaram (talk) 05:26, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I've only been playing Druid for a few weeks but I'd never noticed the globe before. On the other hand, I actually had to look for it after reading about the "change" to even notice it, so it could have been there before and gone unnoticed. However, the animation has changed, at least in terms of effects. The flash is now much brighter, almost startlingly so. -- Riesra (talk) 06:26, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it does have a new flash I hadn't seen before. (happily moonfires rats all over Dalaran..) --Azaram (talk) 14:38, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Also removed that the cooking daily Convention at the Legerdemain 'now' only requires four  [Northern Stew]; it hasn't taken 12 for a long time. Looks like someone found some things they hadn't noticed before. I did it the day before the patch, and it was four. --Azaram (talk) 06:07, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
It required 12 here (EU) until the day before the patch. I know exactly because it was nearly every day the daily quest and it was a pain. --Nalumis (talk) 07:35, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
It was 12 before the patch, so this should definitely still be in there. you are probably confused with playing the PTR patch. Zurgat (talk) 08:33, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Except I haven't been on the PTR since before 3.0. It was 4 for me on Staghelm US yesterday for the horde one... I'd been sending myself sets of 4 chilled meat from my bank alt to sit in my mailbox for when I needed them, since it seemed to be the most common of the quests. It's confused now, tho. The quest text says "You gots to be providin' 8 Northern Stew and a Jug of Wine"... but the quest objectives says FOUR stew. So, I won't object to it being put back... I just think it's incorrect, in at least some cases.--Azaram (talk) 14:20, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Well, since it's thursday today, and the patch was added for the USA on tuesday, that would be perfectly logical. If you had seen 4 on monday though.... Either way I can assure you i've been using 12 meat at a time for the quest, as late as last monday (EU), and the quest was completed with 4 stews instead this wednesday when we got the patch. If you're seeing 8 today, perhaps the quest has a random element to it? Wait.. this actually looks interesting, though it could just be a slacking update on wowhead, but [1] the horde quest says quite clearly 4 meat, while the laliance one shows 12  - Zurgat talk / cont  14:26, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it was 4 on Monday... it's always been 4, as long as I've been doing it; I was working on a different character to begin with. I remember one patch saying 'down from 12' previously, but only vaguely...(retroactively signed due to edit conflict) --Azaram (talk) 14:35, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
[2] Shows 4 on wowhead, and the old value still for the alliance as 12. thott shows it as 4 as well.  - Zurgat talk / cont  14:31, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
As a frequent cooking daily person, it was 12 before and it's 4 now, and it's the same for Horde Horde and AllianceAlliance. The only reason the quests are separate IDs is because the quest givers aren't neutral. Don't worry about wowhead & thottbot being out of date - they're lagging behind on several changes. -Howbizr (talk) 14:57, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
That's what I'm thinking. I just don't see how Azaram can claim he was doing 4 or even 8 unless he's using a private server or PTR.  - Zurgat talk / cont  14:59, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Azaram claims he was doing 4 because Azaram wouldn't have put the effort into doing 12. ALL of the meat I've been using is stuff I picked up while leveling Azaram the druid to 77, parking him because the guild the hunter is in needed hunters and leveling her to 80, then going back to Az. I've never farmed any of it. If it was 60% of a stack to do the quest, I just wouldn't have done it and waited for the next day to try a different one. Az got to Dalaran at 74, and was doing it then, and it was 4. To clear his bags, he sent all of his chilled meat to his bank alt, and had her send it back in stacks to allow opening one email, picking up the stack (of four) necessary to do the quest, then closing the email and leaving the remainder of the meat (in stacks of four) in the email for easy access later. I haven't bought any of the recipes with the dalaran cooking awards yet; I set myself an 'achievement' of getting all 66 necessary to buy all of the recipes at once, and right now I have 44. As long as I've been doing this quest, it's been 4. I never claimed it was 8; if you read what I said, it was 'The quest text says 8'. The last time I was on the PTR was before the 3.0 patch was on it. I don't even have the software installed anymore. And I don't have a private server; I've never liked cheat codes in games. It is four, it was four, and it's been four as long as I've been doing it. What, exactly, reason would I have to lie about it, hm? --Azaram (talk) 14:30, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

10 achievement points gone missing

Monday i had 5000 points. but upon logging on after the patch i had 4990. Some members of the guild reported a similar thing. 10 points gone missing. Anyone have an idea which achievement would have caused this? Also, the armory is currently showing "0" and counting points upward from last night.  - Zurgat talk / cont  10:17, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I read that  [Perma-Peddle] was removed in Patch 3.0.8. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 13:45, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, but we didnt have that one yet.  - Zurgat talk / cont  14:32, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
I noticed I lost a PvP achievement, although I haven't tracked down which one yet. That or I typed "26" instead of "25" when I updated my user page before the patch. -Howbizr (talk) 18:56, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Mmmm...  Louder Than Bombs seems to have been removed from the Wintergrasp section. "Drop a bomb on a player in Wintergrasp Fortress." -Howbizr (talk) 19:08, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
didnt have that one before anyway, as its new?  - Zurgat talk / cont  19:43, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Okay the problem is just that the PvP Achievement page is out of date. You're best off looking at wirebrain. 9138 was Patch 3.0.3 and 9464 is the current patch, Patch 3.0.8. That achievement was removed a long time ago - potentially didn't go live. -Howbizr (talk) 19:54, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Found it. Destruction derby did a reset.. i had it before of which im 100% sure. but now it's completely reset.  - Zurgat talk / cont  19:57, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Sudden Death and other warrior changes

While some warrior changes made it in, there is still the issue that sudden death was changed so that it can use no more than 30 rage. I also had a friend in-game say that he was noticing his damage from deep wounds was much lower than normal. Deep wounds could be a bug (or he could be crazy) so research is needed, but the tooltip for sudden death has been changed to reflect the 30 rage but not listed in patch notes. So it should probably be added to the undocumented changes.Coolcat600 (talk) 13:24, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Go ahead and add it/change it to whatever you think is correct, especially if you have a warrior and can verify. A lot of the things noted in Patch changes came from PTR and may no longer be valid. -Howbizr (talk) 14:30, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

More changes

I'm not really sure how to go about adding all this so I'll just dump it here and if someone with more clue than me wants to update the page they can. I couldn't find these in either the official patch notes or here and I've confirmed them myself on the live servers.

New engineering recipe: Schematic: Titanium Toolbox - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23817

New enchanting recipe: Formula: Enchant Chest - Exceptional Resilience - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37340

New quest in Zul'Drak: Eggs for Dubra'Jin - http://www.wowdb.com/quest.aspx?id=13556

(Hunter) Glyph of Mend Pet now gives 20 happiness per tick rather than 20 happiness on cast.

There's a new zone-wide buff in Lake Wintergrasp for controlling the southern towers - http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62064

Sorry to just dump this here.

Thanks for the info! If it hasn't been added by someone else, I'll put it in tonight, and you can see what I did with the revision tools. Smiley.gif -Howbizr (talk) 16:09, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Delicious Chocolate Cake: Error

This was marked as being a new reward, as of this patch, to the Northrend cooking reward dailies. This is inaccurate, it was attainable previously. The droprate may have been increased, but it was possible prior to this point. I got this as a reward almost a month ago. -khymaera (talk)

Correct. This was a grammar mistake I didn't realize I made. It already dropped the cake, and now it drops this additional recipe. -Howbizr (talk) 20:43, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
