Rep

Changed the reputation for killing Ossirian to the correct 300 Cenarion Circle and 100 Brood of Nozdormu. -- SakkuraBalnazzar

Timer

The 45s time is from a chunk of code I've written on the fly - announce to raid when he gains / loses a weakness, and comparing the timestamps. With the 30 seconds rule + clicking margin, we got him up to 3 debuffs... Which is a waste of time you could have used to get a little bit more damage on him.

Crystals

If his spirit being bound up in the crystals makes him invincible according to the story why are we kiting him TO them and why would they debuff him? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mags16 (talk · contr).

Activation probably means the power is turned onto aother frequency, so he gets it no more. Plus blizzard is stupid. Not really. Charred But Alive 15:16, 21 June 2006 (EDT)

Just majorly edited this page to more accurately represent the current form of the fight, and consolidate the two strategies provided into one that works and doesn't include information from the original version of the fight. -- Mnemonexus

I removed that part about timing the crystal clicking by using cooldowns and reminded people of the existence of clocks. -- Wrzlprmft

"Fight in the middle" technique

Added the technique for clicking all the crystals on the outside to force them into the middle. This fight is really trivial if you do that.

Crystal spawn pattern

The way my guild does this guy is different than the strat on his page. Ours is MUCH easier and more reliable than having to rush to a crystal clear across the room. Yesterday, while being a crystal clicker, I noticed a pattern that they spawn in. Not 100% sure exactly yet, will do further testing, time permiting. But i'm 90% sure the crystals spawn on a pattern V.S. random spawning. Any thoughts guys?

Other game reference?

From his appearance and abilities he resembles Kurt Zisa, an extremely hard side boss in the 1st Kingdom Hearts game, for example, during both of these fights, a Sandstorm starts and Tornadoes occasionally whirl around damaging anyone inside. Lord Kronus (talk) 13:10, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

You're stretching. Similar mechanics does not a reference make. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:55, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Soloing at 80

Just soloed the whole AQ-20 with a paladin tank, 24k HP unbuffed, 548 defense, 24k armor and my gear is far from being Naxx-10 quality. So the soloing tips in the article are a bit exaggerated. Svetopolk (talk) 00:48, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Anubisath

Despite being called a horusath in the game files, I don't think the term has ever been mentioned in any other source, and Ossirian has been identified as an anubisath. I realize that anubisath is a reference to Anubis and Ossirian doesn't resemble him, but rather Horus, but that doesn't really matter in terms of the game universe. I'm going to change it on the article page, and if anyone knows of a source identifying him as a "horusath" feel free to undo my change, but please cite your source.
