Merge with Memory

 [60] Compassion, Blade of Humility,  [60WQ] Remedial Lessons, and  [51-60] A Temple in Need in Bastion use "manifestation" to refer to the big (currently on the memory page) and small (subject of this page) variants of this aberration. If the small ones (sha-like) are not exclusive to Revendreth and appear in Bastion, then the two pages should be merged, preferably move the content of this page back where it was. On the memory page, there could be sections "Bastion" and "Revendreth" for their explanations and lists. We also have the devourer page for all variants of the race, and the memory page could do the same. People with beta, are there more small ones present in Bastion? + Alexandros's Burdens appear as both, small and big ones, so it would be a bit easier to use one name instead of two. -- Mordecay (talk) 08:47, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

The thing is the "Memories" in Bastion are the result of Kyrians literally purging their memories. They cease to remember afterwards, the memory is released. The Manifestations in Revendreth are the result of a process of alleviating a soul of its sin (or a soul failing to get rid of its sin) but the memory remains intact. In fact souls have canonically gone from Revendreth to Bastion as part of the "Seal of Contrition" questline for the Kyrian Covenant Campaign. Lorewise/narratively they aren't the same creatures even if they're using the same model. The Bastion ones are manifestations of Memory (ie they are memories) and the Revendreth ones are Manifestations of Sin (ie they are products of excess anima and sin). The former results in memory loss a la Buddhism/Hypnotherapy and the latter retains the memory of what was done in order to contemplate on their sin. Baalqliphoth (talk) 03:51, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

following up my own thought but I guess if the different pages don't exist because of lore reasons per se the point is moot? idk, just feels weird lumping in sins manifesting through anima extraction with memories/trauma being literally removed from your mind User:Baalqliphoth(talk) 04:16, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
