The Shaman manga is set in the year 27, which it states to be two hundred and fifty-seven years after the War of the Three Hammers. That would place the war at the year -230, and the most recent timeline confirms that. As of Reign of Chaos (year 20), Muradin was 221 years old (according to his biography). That means he was born in the year -201, just 29 years after the War of the Three Hammers. We know from Muradin's quotes that Magni is older - possibly old enough to have been alive during the war. This suggests that Magni, Muradin and Brann are not just "descendants" of Madoran, but rather his sons. Egrem (talk) 20:20, 13 November 2013 (UTC)

I realized the same long ago, but the UVG says Madoran is "Magni's ancestor", and given that there were many Dark Iron Emperors between Thaurissan and Dagran Thaurisan, it could be that Madoran was Magni's grand-grandfather or something like that. What we know, however, is that Kardros Wildhammer's heir was Kurdran, as per Fire and Iron.--Cemotucu (talk) 01:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
