Tribe or no?
So we can have Highmountain "tribe", but we can't have Anvilmar "clan"? Not to mention that there is no actual source behind that this should be a tribe? g0urra[T҂C] 07:59, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
And now on Trag Highmountain is says he's from the Highmountain clan. Which one would it be? g0urra[T҂C] 08:21, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Merge with rep page

Name
Since we will have much to do with the Highmountain of the Broken Isles, wouldn't be better to rename this page to something like Highmountain tribe (Kalimdor) or Eastern Kingdoms whatever they live. Or a better fitting name? It might be quite confusing to have only a "Tribe" and "tribe" to separate them and people would rather be looking for the other especially now that they will be playable. I can change the links of the Kalimdor tribe myself, no problemo. What do you think? --Ryon21 (talk) 04:27, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

What about moving Highmountain Tribe to Highmountain Tribe (faction)? It would be coherent with stuff like Stormwind (faction) or Gilneas (faction), but that would probably make it even worse for people being confused about the two tribes :/ Xporc (talk) 16:14, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- I just hope Blizzard merges the two tribes lore-wise. And yeah, with the faction it'll be confusing too. I've read some of the comics and I've arrived to the conclusion that there's only one possible name. Highmountain tribe (Legends)? We don't know for sure anything else. It may not be the perfect name but I it isn't wrong no? Also, with the Highmountain being playable we will have to deal a lot with the links and things could get confusing, especially since all the other tribe pages have the tribe in lower case.
- PD: About Melgromm Highmountain, is there any confirmation he is part of the tribe? I cannot find any fact. The same goes with Huln and some other members in it. Any confirmed information of the tribe is only from the comic and the Trag character? --Ryon21 (talk) 01:18, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- AFAIK, no. I think some editors went overzealous and declared that any occurrence of tauren having the same name was a tribe, as exemplified by Darkmane tribe and Longstride tribe. Highmountain tribe (Legends) seems like a good idea IMO, but then you'd have what? Highmountain tribe for the lore of the Highmountain tauren, and Highmountain Tribe (or Highmountain Tribe (faction)) for the gameplay-related content? Xporc (talk) 10:39, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
