It is stated in lore that only one Guardian can exist at a time. It seems like both Medivh and Aegwynn were Guardians at the same time around the years of the First War and then again in the Third War. Rolandius  (talk - contr) 11:48, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

I would say not, based on the fact that Aegwynn had no power during the Third War, and Medivh took it from her during the First. The power is what made the Guardian. --Sky (t · c · w) 13:49, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

It says that Guardians can live for centuries, which seems true, but in CoH I understood it that the Guardians had the power to use de-aging magic upon themselves, as Aegwynn did. So maybe as Guardians they naturally live longer than mortals, but certainly not as long as Aegwynn did. From Aegwynn's memories we found out that the archmages thought she had long since lived past her right to be Guardian. Maybe we should fix that in the article or can someone give me more detailed information? I bring this up mostly because CoH contradicts the article on the Guardian in S&L. jclipps (talk) 02:26, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Khadgar

Now I haven't done the new Kara, once you leave does Khadgar actually acknowledge Medivh calling him Guardian or have the <Guardian> title under his name? Because in the videos I've seen of the dungeon itself he shoots down Medivh calling him Guardian after the last boss. I'm not sure he should be listed here; Medivh calling him that doesn't mean he accepted the job.ReignTG (talk) 00:12, 10 November 2016 (UTC)

I think I saw (video) written it as guardian not Guardian. I, too, am skeptical whether Khadgar should be here. EDIT: Re-watched the video and it is Guardian :D The current sentence is okay. --Mordecay (talk) 19:43, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

He shoots down the POWER of the guardian, not necessarily the position. Plus Medivh's insistence that he is the guardian is not refuted past the second time he says it.--Berenal (talk) 06:59, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
