Does Blinking into the ground work? --Sky (t · c · w) 02:28, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

It didn't for me back when I tried in beta. It'd be easier to just ice block out of the sky anyway. Last I heard that does work. --k_d3 02:32, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Quite a few of the ways to make this easy through abilities don't work, but there's a reliable way to do it without any special abilities. Line up with the Scryer lift in Shattrath when it's at the top. Fly up about 2 or 3 feet above that, and out over the middle tier (Terrace of Light). Make sure you're on 100% health. Fall from there to the middle tier. You need to hit the main level of the middle tier, not the ramps/bridges. This works even if you're Aldor - the guards won't aggro you on the edge of the lift platform. If I remember correctly, you need to finish on between 5% health and dead to get the achievement. If you fail the first time, just tweak the starting height slightly, and you should get it within a couple of goes. Un-equip gear with durability to save costs, if you're worried about that. --Murph (talk · contr) 02:54, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
The Aldor one works if you time it right.--SWM2448 02:57, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Easy places to gain the achievement

One easily accessible place for the Horde is the tower at the Sunsail Anchorage. Climb to the top, leap or fall off the north face, and land on the concrete. Any level should survive the fall, but lower levels may have trouble if there's still baddies at the bottom to pick them off for what little HP they'll have left. - Team4technologies (talk) 20:17, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Falthrien Academy

I got this early on when I jumped off the top of The Falthrien Academy Mattwo (talk) 01:10, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Screenshot removed?

There was previously posted (in the section "Easily identifiable locations," under Exodar) a screenshot showing precisely the location and orientation within the Exodar to use for the jump. It did show some UI, but only that which was necessary to show the angle-- i.e. the minimap. I hope this will be de-vandalized shortly to make it easier on people trying to get this Achievement.--ClemSnide (talk) 07:18, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I think part of the point of "Easily identifiable locations" is that you should not have to refer to a screenshot to be able to identify the location. I can think of several currently listed locations that would qualify for removal... --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:10, September 21, 2009 (UTC)
@Eirik: In most cases that's true, but this particular Achievement is very, very touchy. Sometimes a minor divergence in angle will mean either failing to get it or dying from the fall. I hold that this is a good example of when the character's toon should be shown, and the minimap angle as well, so that it is indeed easily identifiable. (The original comment on the Exodar, which I edited to include coordinates, was so vague as to be useless.)--ClemSnide (talk) 00:56, September 23, 2009 (UTC)
