Reputation factions vs lore factions

Let me just make a list to help me make a point...:

The first four kingdoms have two pages, one based around the lore and one based around the reputation faction. The following three only have the reputation faction, and lore about their politics are instead found on their respective race-pages. The last one is currently a mix of both on the same page.

The way I see it, there are two options: Option 1 is to merge the first four examples, and add lore information to the next three. Option 2 is to create new pages only reserved for the lore of the last three/four examples. -Amargaard (talk) 10:49, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

The ideal thing would be to create new lore pages for those factions (the Tushui/Huojin for now we can keep it as it is, or even not separate it) but there are a lot, and I mean a lot of pages (not NPCs but a lot of zones, subzones, lore etc.) that would need to change links which it is a great task as we would need to do it for the Alliance and Horde factions. Merging them is not an option for the time being as we are working to separate them. --Ryon21 (talk) 11:08, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
In that case what would be the correct name for the gnomish lore-page? Gnomeregan (kingdom)? Gelbin refer to himself as King of Gnomes, and I believe I once read somewhere that they "elect" kings. Or would Gnomeregan (nation) suit better? Maybe a third option? --Amargaard (talk) 11:48, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
Technically the Proudmoore Admiraly is another sub-faction within the greater kingdom of Kul Tiras, so the example doesn't work for it. As for splitting more reps ... I don't really mind, but those are always a lot of work for a very marginal gain, and also several people hate it when pages are split. Xporc (talk) 11:59, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
For that maybe a Gnomeregan (nation) would be okay. On the other hand we could simply use these pages for the lore in the meantime. At least until we find a definite solution. --Ryon21 (talk) 13:17, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
Done! A whole day's work of collecting data from other existing Gnomeregan-related pages, entering it into a format like the kingdom-pages. I did not edit the other pages, but looking through them made me realize that gnome pages in general are probably those that need the most love. Lots of contradicting lore and stubs and typos etc. Anyway, I must admit that the boring linking-part of the job is not really something I feel up to right now. --Amargaard (talk) 00:21, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
When a race is mostly united, racial history and faction history are the same. This is the first patch where that might not be the case for Gnomes.--SWM2448 01:28, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
